For anything that crosses my mind. |
We spend a lot learning how to be positive though we're born this way. |
Surprisingly,as an Egyptian - who have always dreamt of settling abroad for the rest of my life- after announcing the results of the first presidential elections after the revolution, after having all the kind of irrelevant mixed emotional states, and after observing how many people practiced dictatorship they’ve been fighting for decades to express their opinions, I actually felt so sorry and disappointed for how whenever we start approaching the word democracy it keeps fading like a mirage. I actually felt like Egypt is a precious vintage diamond that’s beautifully wrapped in beautiful silk, I felt so jealous on my country that I would have felt the same way if the other candidate whom I voted for won!!
After all that I sat for a while away from any source of media to regather my senses and calm down and I reached the surprising conclusion, that specially in that phase I’d never leave this country whatever happens and that I love it more than anytime in my life.
Let’s be positive for the sake of our beloved country, for whom we have an identity and faith in.
